With the news her husband Lamar Odom has been traded to a basketball team in Texas, it's understandable that Khloe Kardashian is making the most of family time.

The reality star, 27, was seen out with her adorable nephew Mason enjoying a playdate together in the Calabasas Commons earlier today.

Despite the stresses of her expected move, the Khloe And Lamar star was her usual playful self as she took Mason Disick out on a playdate.


The leggy sibling wasn’t afraid to climb apparatus with her elder sister Koutney’s son.

The star – who has made no secret of her desire to become a mother – squeezed in some extra time with the two-year-old at a play park in her family’s home town in the state of California.

She recently announced how happy she was about the news Scott Disick and Kourtney had another child on the way, so uprooting to Dallas will no doubt be painful for all.

Wearing attire from the Kardashian Kollection, the brunette beauty snubbed her favoured high heel Christian Louboutin collection for a pair of comfortable trainers in order to assume aunty duties.

As the cute pair stopped off to buy some literature at bookstore Barnes and Noble, the toddler certainly looked festive in pumpkin-coloured jumper and candy cane-style hat.

At one point, the businesswoman cheekily removed Mason’s footwear to tickle his feet on their walk.

Just days after NBA superstar Lamar Odom's trade to New Orleans was cancelled, the Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly sending him packing for good, this time to the Dallas Mavericks.

On Saturday the 32-year-old NBA player, who is married to reality TV star Khloé Kardashian, received news that he had been traded to the Dallas Mavericks, the Los Angeles Times Lakers' blog reported.

Lamar has had an awful week after the Lakers first tried to trade him with the New Orleans Hornets.

That deal was stopped by the NBA but left Lamar feeling unwanted by the legendary California team.

On Friday he reported more than 90 minutes late to the Lakers' first day of training camp and he did not stay long.

'To me, I would think it's better to stay away,' Odom told The Los Angeles Times. 'You know, the energy and all. I don't know how it's going to go right now. It's a little weird.'

Yet his 27-year-old spouse has been a paragon of virtue when it came to her wifely duties showing unwavering support and vowing to follow Lamar wherever his career takes him.

As word of his trade to Texas spread, Khloé took to Twitter to let her followers know how the couple is handling the news.

'We are sad but positive energy gets you farther then negative,' Khloé tweeted.

She added: 'I know for a fact blessings are everywhere!!! Everything happens for a reason. God is great.'

According to sports reports, Odom is currently receiving an $8.9m salary.

She tweeted: 'I am curious as to how I am the cause for any trade? LOL Some people just say anything behind their computer screens.'

A move may be difficult, as the couple are currently undergoing IVF treatment to get pregnant, according to Us Weekly.

'She is desperate for a baby with Lamar and will do whatever it takes,' a friend of the couple told the magazine. 'They have faith the IVF will work.'

Khloé, who looked ultra-glamorous as she stepped out in Los Angeles yesterday, is reported to have had several consultations about IVF treatment and is taking pre-natal vitamins.

IVF costs around $10,000 to $15,000 per treatment.
