Kris moves out: The NBA star leaves his Manhattan hotel without his wedding ring today

Although they've only been man and wife for eight weeks, it's been reported that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' relationship is already on the rocks.

Today, the 26-year-old NBA star was carting cardbox boxes and a suitcase out of his current residence of New York City's Gansevoort Hotel with his arms full of moving boxes.

He and Kim, who turns 31 tomorrow, have been staying at the posh Meatpacking District hotel while she films her reality show, Kim & Kourtney Take New York.

In addition to carting out his possessions, the pro basketball player was also seen without his wedding ring.

But it isn't just Kris that is leaving the abode.

The entire extended Kardashian clan are said to be moving out of the lush hotel.
A friend close to Kim tells the MailOnline that now that Kim's reality show is wrapped, everybody is moving out.

However, it still doesn't explain why the newlywed is not wearing his symbol of his love.

Kim and older sister Kourtney, 32, were also seen going into a nail salon, but it is unclear whether it was the same salon as the New Jersey Nets player.

The girls left the establishment without their giant heels, wearing flip-flops to allow their polish to dry.

With their Hippie-style outfits on, perhaps the girls are gearing up for Kim's birthday; she'll turn 31 at the stroke of midnight tonight.

Given that she always takes her birthday celebrations so seriously - she had three parties last year alone - it is possible that celebrations could take place over the next few days.

Despite only being married for a matter of weeks, sources claim that Kim and Kris are already heading for divorce.

A source close to the couple has told MailOnline: ‘I don’t know when they’ll announce the split or why they got married in the first place but they are done.’

‘They are divorcing. Kim has been staying in a New York hotel which Kris has failed to visit.’

Star magazine - which recently broke the news of Demi Moore's marriage woes - has reported that Kim may have already consulted a 'top divorce lawyer'.
