'She's a fashion pariah': Why stylists 'won't go near' Kristen Stewart... but she is doing fine without their help

With Hollywood at her feet, stylists should be falling over themselves to dress Kristen Stewart.

But it seems the 21-year-old's quirky, relaxed style has turned her into a sartorial outcast - with 'very few' wanting to work with her.

Celebrity stylists have apparently rejected Twi-hards' darling because she favours casual clothes - even describing her as a 'fashion pariah.'


She famously famously changes out of her heels and into trainers to sign autographs, and unlike many other celebrities is happy to leave the house in scruffy clothes and with no make-up on.

A source told U.S. magazine, Star: 'She has grubby nails, ratty sneakers and bad attitude.

'Very few people want to work with her because she doesn’t want to look good.'
Not that Kirsten appears to be suffering in the slightest.

She frequently appears on best dressed lists and has worn everyone from Chanel to Alexander McQueen.

Top designers Oscar de la Renta, Marchesa, Elie Saab, Herve Leger, Dolce Gabbana, Proenza Schouler and Roland Mouret have all recently dressed the actress.

But it seems that all people remember are the pictures of her wearing loose-fitting T-Shirts and dirty trainers when she is wondering around in the daytime.

The star managed to get hold of a stunning Roberto Cavalli gown for the Breaking Dawn premiere in London. In L.A. she wore a J. Mendell number that was split to the thigh.

Carolina Herrera also seemed to have no problem with designing a wedding dress for Kristen to wear when her character, Bella Swan, got married in the latest Twilight film.

Kristen looked stunning in all of their creations. We can't imagine any of the designers would be reluctant to dress her again.

She is famed for her ever expanding brood of children with her A-list husband Brad Pitt.

But big-hearted Angelina Jolie has revealed she believes she will never live up to the standards set by her own mother Marcheline Bertrand.

The Oscar-winning actress revealed her admiration for her parent - who died at the age of 56 in 2007 following an eight-year battle with ovarian cancer - and choked back tears as she told how talking about her is her 'soft spot'.

Talking about her parent's self-sacrificing nature on 60 Minutes, she said: 'My mother was a full-time mother.

'She didn't have much of her own career, her own life, her own experiences. Everything was for her children.

'I will never be as good a mother as she was. She was just grace incarnate. She was the most generous, loving – she's better than me'

Marcheline was married to Angelina's father Jon Voight from 1971 to 1980, and despite studying under famed acting teacher Lee Strasberg, she concentrated on her family rather than her career.

Angelina has three biological children with Brad Pitt: Shiloh, 5, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 3. They also have three adoptive children: Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, and Zahara, 6.

And the Tomb Raider star has learned from her mother's example, as she arranges her schedule carefully alongside her husband so only one of them is ever working.
She said: 'No we never work at the same time.'

Angelina added her favourite time is when she is at home with the children, and said the reason other mothers wish they could be making movies like her is 'because it's easier.'

The interview did take a more macabre turn when she revealed she had a back-up plan in case her acting career failed.

She is launching a new career as a director, but has admitted she she once planned a directorial profession of a different kind - as an undertaker.

She had actually taken courses in the subject, and said: 'It sounds like this very strange, eccentric, dark thing to do but in fact I lost my grandfather and was very upset with his funeral.

'How somebody passes and how family deals with this passing and what death is should be addressed in a different way.

'If this whole acting thing didn't work out that was going to be my path.'

And she had been deadly serious about the profession, even getting a certificate in the subject.

She said: 'I thought I could do better, so I got a home course when I was about 14. I did a mail-order degree.'

A good spot for a funeral: No doubt Angelina's trained eye would determine there was plenty of space here to bury a coffin


Angelina also claimed that things people read about her in gossip magazines are far removed from who she really is.

She said they are missing 'Me,' adding: 'I don't see those things. I don't know who they are but I assume they're not me.

They're not who I am. They're not what I spend my day caring about.
'I find them quite shallow and often quite wrong.'

Angelina also said she cannot belive she is making her directorial debut with unlikely Bosnian War love story In the Land of Blood and Honey, which she also wrote.

She said: 'I still think it's crazy. I think I'd be terrible with a comedy.'

And she admitted she did not realise it would be so controversial with people from the country.

She said: 'I did not realise it was going to be be as sensitive. Everything was something to be careful about and sensitive.'

And she admits she is worried about how it will be received, but denied it was a risky move.

She said: 'I am nervous that people are not going to understand it.

'What's risky? Is living your life never trying for anything, never trying anything brave? I'm scared in a good way.'

And while she usually shies away from mentioning her past, she also admitted she had very wild days.

She even claimed she is lucky to be alive, given what she put herself through in her youth.

Her wild side has been highly documented and visible in the past.

In addition to her plethora of tattoos, she was once famous for dating co-stars and famously wore then-husband Billy Bob Thornton's blood in a vial around her neck.

She also gave brother James Haven a passionate kiss on the lips at the 2000 Academy Awards and has spoken publicly about bisexual trysts.

She had a lesbian love affair with her Foxfire co-star Jenny Shimizu, of whom she has said: 'I would probably have married Jenny if I hadn't married my [first] husband [Jonny Lee Miller].'

The now-painfully thin star is known for her humanitarian efforts and her gigantic brood of children.

She is now attempting to make her name as a director with the upcoming film In the Land of Blood and Honey.

The actress also wrote the film, which is a dark love story set during the Bosnian war in the early 1990s.

The model, who turned 26 earlier this month, appeared to be more than a little broody as she hung out with her fellow Victoria's Secret Angel in New York.

She appeared to have a doe-eyed look in her eyes, placing a loving hand on Flynn's neck as his mother carried him during a day out in the Big Apple.

Miranda, 28, kept it casual in a green sweater, black leggings and black flats as she cradled her little boy, who is now seven months old.

Flynn was dressed in an ultra-cute grey hat, white woolen jumper, green bottoms and striped multi-coloured socks.

Miranda's day out in NYC comes just two days ahead of the airing of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show - which can be seen tomorrow on CBS in the U.S.

Meanwhile Miranda has modestly revealed that, despite being elevated to the lofty position of Victoria's Secret Angel, she believes she is equal to other women and didn't feel she deserved to join the lingerie giant when she was first signed up.

She told New York Magazine: 'I just remember, like, the first time I met Adriana

The model, who has released a self-help book called Treasure Yourself, added: 'I always see myself as, like, equal to everyone. I can’t feel bad about being who I am, just like the girl next to me can’t feel bad about being who she is.

'I want to encourage women to embrace their own uniqueness. Because just like a rose is beautiful, so is a sunflower, so is a peony. I mean, all flowers are beautiful in their own way, and that’s like women too.'

He looks like just your average family man, but Ben Affleck still hasn't let his youthful side escape.

The 39-year-old actor/producer/director took his girls out for a simple lunch today in Los Angeles and managed to show off some surprising body art.

As he learned over to strap daughters Violet and Seraphina into his car, his shirt rode up to reveal a dolphin tattoo on his right hip.

He revealed a secret that very few know about: his tattooed attempt at at bad boy past.

The actor has body art in the form of a dolphin just below his right hip, perilously close to his botom.

He allegedly opted for the dolphin to cover up an ex-high school girlfriend's name.

The Hollywood actor has also been sporting Justin Bieber's former bowl cut recently, though the 'do is allegedly for his role in the upcoming 70s-era film, Argos.

Perhaps his excitement at nearly having a son has also helped to make him look younger and more boyish.

He was very much an adult today though as she took his heavily pregnant wife, Jennifer Garner out for a light lunch.

Ben looked classic and attractive in a pea green sweater and dark trousers, while wife's protruding bump was on proud display.

Affleck, who is also 39, must've been sweltering in a grey-green sweater with his hair long and shaggy and a beard covering his face for his role in 70s' set Argo.

It's adorable to see just how clearly the pair are adopting their own style standards.

Violet looked sweet in a yellow striped dress that she'd matched with some canary-coloured beads, and was clinging to a pink metallic hand bag.

Little Seraphina coordinated with her mother in a rich navy with indigo undertones, and kept her favourite doll close even when get a lift from Affleck.

It's clearly a joy for him to spend time with his girls, but understandably, he is looking forward to having another man in the family.

The Pearl Harbour actor is said to be over the moon that his wife is reportedly pregnant with a boy, having a 'little sports buddy' in the family.

The couple bury a box in their garden and somehow they soon find themselves welcoming a baby boy into their family.

She is also said to be signed up to Back Roads, a film based on the novel by Tawni O’Dell alongside Andrew Garfield.

The twosome went for lunch at the 26 Beach Restaurant before hopping on their bikes and riding down the boardwalk by the ocean front.

The pair have been dating since late summer and were first seen together at the 30th birthday party for her former co-star Ashley Tisdale's sister Jennifer.

The starlet admitted that she was to blame for the incident and now has a scar to show for it.

'We were shooting a scene down on the beach and there are just lava rocks everywhere,' she explained to About.com.

The actress looked in fine form during her weekend excursion after piling on the pounds for another recent film role.

She put on weight to play character Agnes 'Apple' Bailey - a pregnant runaway in drama, Gimme Shelter.

Vanessa also chopped off her long brown tresses rather than wearing a wig and is now starting to grow her hair out.

The actress says she is happy to get away from her teen role and tackle grittier projects.

When speaking about her character in the film, Vanessa said: 'I'm so excited and proud of the work I've been doing and let me tell you, you all are going to be SHOCKED with how I look in this movie.

If there's one thing little boys hate, it's shopping, so LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian played it smart today and split up to do their own thing after lunch in Malibu today.

The girls hit the upscale boutiques and the boys went for a stroll in the park as temperatures hit the high 70s in Los Angeles over Thanksgiving weekend.

LeAnn looked happy and healthy after criticism over the summer that she was too thin.


Earlier in the day LeAnn was wearing a mini-skirt and cardigan as she browsed in the boutiques.

But as the temperature rose she changed into something more summery
The 29-year-old singer showed off her curves in a clingy blue jersey dress teamed with black gladiator sandals.

She completed her look with an armful of gold bangles and a pair of aviator sunglasses.

The Northern Lights star clutched a large snakeskin tote as she made her way through the upscale Malibu Country Mart with a girlfriend.

Known for her rich vocals, LeAnn found fame as an eight-year-old champion on the original Ed McMahon version of Star Search.

'Trust me I have my moments, but I've been doing it so long' she added, 'I've been one of the very few who have come through as a true artist on the other side of the child star kind of thing. I'm prouder of my work than I've ever been.'

LeAnn's career seems to be going from strength to strength at the moment.

Cibiran, 38, on the other hand has just had his show The Playboy Club cancelled by NBC after just three episodes.

The 1963-set drama failed to capture the Mad Men style nostalgia it was aiming for and was yanked amidst criticisms about weak performances and misogynistic storylines.

They later also left in separate cars.

Brad Pitt should consider himself a lucky man given that he almost ran into ex-wife Jennifer Aniston last night.

The unfriendly exes both decided to take in a movie last night at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood.

The 47-year-old Moneyball star had taken four of his children with partner Angelina Jolie - Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, Zahara, six and Shiloh, five - to see the 2 p.m. showing of Martin Scorsese's fantasy film, Hugo.

After the film, he and his children entered the parking garage just as Aniston and new boyfriend Justin Theroux arrived for a later showing.

They missed one another by the narrow margin of five minutes.

'Justin and Jennifer skipped the popcorn and went straight in. Like five minutes later, Brad and the kids came out of the theatre, They just missed each other!' a source tells X17online.

It may have also been the first time that Brad and Jen came face-to-face since their 2005 divorce.

In lieu of recent comments Pitt made about his former wife, it's a good thing that he had a near miss.

The Academy Award nominated actor called his marriage to the Horrible Bosses star 'boring' earlier this year.

He told Parade magazine that he 'wasn't living an interesting life' and that he 'tried to make the marriage something it wasn't.'

Moving on: The 42-year-old actress is now dating her Wanderlust co-star Justin Theroux


Although he has since sworn that his comments were taken out of context, the 42-year-old actress is reportedly furious with him and disgusted by his 'rudeness.'

'They don't talk,' a source told Us Weekly of the former golden couple back in September. 'She will always think of him as a jerk.'

She has reason, given that he took up with partner Angelina Jolie almost immediately after he and Jen announced their divorce.

However, given that she's happily ensconced with boyfriend and Wanderlust co-star Justin Theroux, 40, perhaps she would have enjoyed seeing Brad and giving him more than a piece of her mind.

And being with her hunky new man would have been the perfect time to do it.
